Pastor LaVonne is a proud mother of two adult children and grandmother of one. Her professional career started as a federal government payroll clerk in the early 1980s and ended as the owner and founder of a decorative concrete company in 2023 when she answered God's call to ministry. LaVonne began her academic preparation for ministry at World Changers Bible College where she acquired her associate's degree in Pastoral Studies and Christian Ministry, graduating magna cum laude. She continues formal Christian education at Regent University in Christian Ministry with a Pastoral Care concentration. However, Pastor LaVonne readily admits that her most impactful preparation is in continual prayer and the study, meditation, and application of the Word of God.
